Dianne Malley reviews the financial situation of a couple who have lots of assets and great income, but, who still have a mortgage, and have managed to rack up over $300,000 in line of credit debt. Yes, there is a way for them to comfortably extricate themselves from this position over time, but for me it reinforced the importance of going into retirement with no debt and your mortgage paid off.
