Moira Walker extols the virtues of writing on “The Canadian”, one of the worlds great train rides. I love trains, and it is our primary mode of transport when we are in Europe. As my feet slowly heal from surgery I am still hopeful that the Love-goddess and I will be able to go out to Victoria to spend part of the winter. Olivia Lee extols the virtues of Hawker Food in Singapore. I thought it best to post something other than an article related to finances… really, the only thing anybody’s writing about these days because of the pandemic… to provide something a little lighter and more interesting for my readers. And, because I absolutely adore Hawker food. You could plan a trip to Singapore simply to enjoy the food, regardless of all the other wonderful things that the city has to offer.

John Heinzl reminds us if we are planning to withdraw funds from our TFSA soon we should be doing it before the end of the year. This allows us to recontribute the same amount, even in the first week of the new year, if we want to, rather than waiting until 2022 if we let the withdrawal slide into the new year.
